Been here many many times. Sadly the last couple have been really disappointing. I have still given a 4 star review though it would have been a 2 star based on the last two pick ups. Firstly the chips are fantastic. Portions may have got smaller lately or maybe we have got greedy. The gravy and spit roast chickens are great too just be prepared for a salt overload The yiros is another matter. 3 weeks ago it was delicious. The last two orders it has been nasty gristle. I mean really unpleasant. I only tried it twice as I thought the prior order might have been a bad batch but no it is now really nasty. Had a burger and threw most of it in the bin. The biggest problem was the meat pattie. Lots of filler and an overwhelming amount of the herbs used for chicken stuffing. That is what it tasted like and was all I could taste. Huge bread roll so best to balance it out with some extra's. Each extra filling will be a costly extra to the price tag, even onions. Have never thrown fast food away before and this makes twice for this shop. Picked up a quarter chicken late in the day. Thought it looked dry sitting there but didn't say anything. So dry it was inedible.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. I have visited multiple times and the food is consistently delicious. Even when they are busy, the quality remains excellent. The chicken is especially tasty and the fries are the best I've ever tasted. And their gravy is amazing too. I cannot find any faults with this place. Additionally, they also serve incredible bacon and egg rolls.
I went to the recently opened Broadbeach Fat Chicken expecting a nice tasty takeaway meal how wrong I was! Whilst the chips were hot and ridiculously generous the Chicken was awful! It was nearly cold, dry and tasteless! You would be better to buy a Chicken in a bag from Coles or Woolies. I'll never return!

The chicken at this restaurant is fresh and delicious, the chips are awesome, and the gravy is delectable! The portion sizes are generous and the prices are affordable. We enjoyed the food so much that we went back twice during our 5-day stay.
I've tried so many things on the menu. The chicken burger is the best on the Gold Coast. I'm definitely hooked on this place!! Great value for money. Unpretentious great food at a fair price with great service.
The service was fast and efficient. The prices were reasonable and the portions were very generous. Although not the healthiest option, it was great value for the money.
