I'm from near Philly and I'd genuinely prefer a cheesesteak from Fat Sal's over a cheesesteak from basically anywhere else! The staff are friendly and fast, the food is amazing, and the pricing is reasonable. There's nowhere to eat on-site, but I often prefer to grab my food and go, anyway.
DE native here a little taste of home can be found here at Fat Sals... the amoroso rolls that's what makes the cheese steak authentic. I love that it's take out only. Great pricing, great food.
Pretty good takeout place, best to order ahead since there's no sit down tables.
