Fattoria l'Amorosa is a agritouristic establishment. The main line of business is wine growing (of outstanding quality, by the way) but the restaurant and the 10 rooms are not to be under estimated. We had dinner on a terrace overlooking the valley in the Bellinzona area. The view is superb but the food is equally impressive. Portions are big so beware of the proper ratio between your hunger and quantity of food. The accompanying wine from the winery was a perfect match, both the white one (a Sauvignon Blanc) and the red one (a Merlot) and both were reasonably priced especially when taking into account that the quantities in the glass exceeded the shown fill level. In the middle of vineyards you'll find this small but beautyful place. We spent two nights in August 2016 there. The rooms are not very big but clean and comfortable. The first evening we also had dinner there. They offer regional specialities of good quality. Their own vines fit very well to the plates they serve. Recomended!!
Menu is limited, they don’t want to serve you only one entree so don’t go to this place unless you are ready to spend a lot of money for ok food and eat 4 plates of food. A plate of pasta with tomato for the kids was 25 chf, and nothing special. The waiter was very rude. The place is beautiful but not worth the bad experience.
Went there for a birthday. The location and area are really pretty. Unfortunatly the menue was something in the middle and completly overpriced. Wine was ok. Staff wasn't really friendly and they had also no chairs/menues for small kids...I will recommend it for a short stop and a cup of coffee or a glass wine nothing more.
