We attended the hops festival and stumbled upon this restaurant. After quickly checking previous reviews, we decided to give it a try. The staff were very polite and attentive. The restaurant had a set meal for the hop festival, which was described as a meze on a couple of occasions. This was a bit confusing as a meze typically involves multiple courses over a long period of time. However, the meal we received was a 3 course meal with a pleasant taster starter, a choice of two meats with fries for the main course, and a small but tasty dessert. After being in business for 40 years, this restaurant has become an iconic spot in Faversham. During my first visit, I quickly understood why. The genuine Turkish cuisine was exceptional, the service was warm and efficient, and the charming owner made us feel very welcome. Named after the restaurant's founder, George's set menu is a wonderful way to experience Turkish dishes for around £24. The menu includes a generous selection of hot and cold meze, followed by a mixed grill of juicy, charred meat, and finished off with baklava, ice cream, and Turkish coffee. One dish that stood out to me was the lamb liver in the hot meze. I am eager to come back again.
our first visit and it was a joy. we all ordered georges special and the cold appetizers were a triumphant, the new salat in granatapfel dressing was a special highlight, although everything was delicious. the rest of the meal followed suit, nice freshly cooked meals. by friendly and attentive staff. a super night, I think this will be a regular target.
I Don't live in the area but when visiting it would not be the same without a visit to Georges Kebab House. Over the past years with a couple of meal visits a year it has only got better. With the addition of the...restaurant its now a great place to take the family without breaking the bank. Great food, Well done Oscar.

worth a visit. a group of us went and we all enjoyed it. the service was attentive, but not too suffocating. large selection on the menu and very good value. we all had a great evening and with most say that they are definitely back. go back.
eat them so delicious with the best hospitality. we tried to convince the owner to come with us. but he is busy with a whole set of customers who love this place as we do.
friendly service, great meals, average appetizers (supervised a mix of hot and cold). nice enough. would not avoid it, but would not be back. the waiting staff was great.
I absolutely adore the mixed starters, it's a meal in itself. The red wine was fantastic and the service was very friendly. I can't wait to come back again.
