We really enjoy this restaurant, but on Saturday night they were incredibly overwhelmed by the greedy customers. It was difficult for them to keep the buffet fully stocked when people were piling their plates with entire food trays. This happened at least twice while we were there, and I'm sure it occurred more frequently. We will definitely come back, but we will avoid Saturday nights. The staff is usually fantastic, but on that night there were just too many people.
Although the food was good, the very young waiter was so inexperienced and was really getting on our nerves. He came by constantly asking how things were. There was no room on our table for everything. He could have moved another table over, but instead, we didn't use our plates, but our silver sauce trays instead. The food was delicious and plentiful and it wasn't crowded and noisy.
We tried out Favorite Indian Restaurant Hayward last week and this restaurant is over-rated. Most of the food we ordered were over-salted and some of them we could not eat because it was way too salty We order the chicken/rice and there were hardly any chicken in it. Mostly all of it were rice. Very disappointed I would not recommend this restaurant.

We visited Favorite Indian Restaurant Hayward last week and found it to be overrated. Most of the dishes we ordered were overly salty, to the point where some were inedible. The chicken dish we ordered had very little chicken and was mostly just rice. We were extremely disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant.
My family and I enjoyed a nice buffet lunch at this restaurant. The servers were nice and attentive. price was right and had a very good selection.
