Re-adding my review because it was deleted for some reason.RE-posting from 12/23/2022:I knew this bakery closes at 5pm, so I called ahead of time asking that if I make it there by 4:55pm, would they still be open to sell me 8 cakes? She said yes, we close at 5pm. So, I rush from NJ to NYC to try to get these cakes and arrive at 4:48pm. Guess what? The metal bars were 3/4 down and they closed BEFORE 5pm. I called 3x and nobody picked up even though I saw workers inside. I knocked on the glass and metal gate to get their attention. A woman comes to the front and says they're closed at 4:51pm. I told her I had called an hour earlier to ask if they'd still be open at 4:55pm to sell cakes to me,...
We had some work in the Greenwich area and needed before heading to the Gym. This bakery is located right at the entrance of the subway (A, C, D; B, D, F, M). It is easy to miss this gem on the busy street.This little shop is amazing with a wide variety of pastries They also serve coffee and boba milk tea, which make them a perfect place for breakfast or afternoon snacks.The staff was very friendly and always tried to help. They require a purchase of at least 10$ to pay by credit card.
I love this little gem. Amazing variety of Chinese buns and pastries. The red bean cakes are delightful and the fried pork dumplings sinfully good. A great selection of steamed buns and fried patties, and the prices can’t be beat. Skip all the fancy West Village bakeries and hit this place up for a real NYC culinary experience.
The staff was unwelcoming. The roast pork puff tasted stale, possibly a week old, and was among the worst I've ever had. As a Taiwanese person, I know my food. The curry beef puff was acceptable, but these puffs should definitely be served warm, not at room temperature.

The mini cakes were delivered on time and packed perfectly, ensuring that none were damaged. The portions were generous for the price, and we were able to cut them into smaller pieces, dividing them into groups of three to share with the office.
I’m really thrilled to have access to Hong Kong-style baked goods in the NOMAD area! It’s so exciting to find these treats nearby. I just hope there are more options at this bakery, similar to what’s available in Chinatown or Chelsea.

Wonderful customer service and delicious baked goods. Highly recommend! Mochi is best when served cold. I got the taro mochi and it was really good!

The sliced chocolate roll arrived a bit squished, but that's alright; they do their best. They have a great selection at reasonable prices.
