The Federal Galley, itself, is very nice. In and outdoor seating. Several TVs with sports showing. There's no loud music, so you can have a conversation. However, there are many people so the space is loud in general. I've gone twice and each time it was not hard for me to find a park. I believe there are three or four restaurants to choose from. I've eaten at two them, Given to Fly and Driven PGH. Honestly, Given to Fly was a let down. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer, the wonton fries were just okay (the main reason I went btw), and I ended up throwing away my banana pudding (really like a parfait lol). Driven PGH was good. The pizza crust taste like old school Pizza Hut...
The Federal Galley food hall and restaurant accelerator features four unique restaurant concepts. As of April 2023 they house Salute (Pub Fare), Shaka (Hawaiian), Driven (Deep Dish Pizza) and Given To Fly (Chicken) . These businesses are able to go rent free and Federal Galley helps in building their brands and encourages their future success in the industry. What an incredible concept! QR codes on the tables will lead you to the menu. Grab your own water and 21+ drinks or order non-alcoholic drinks from your favorite restaurant.
Nice selection of food and a full bar. I love Detroit pizza, but since I live in Detroit I decided to try something different and got a pulled pork bowl from Shaka Shaka. Very tasty, just the right amount of heat. The lemonade, tho, was pretty watery. I came late in the evening and sat outside. Some clean tables available, many still being bused. Full bar. Friendly service.
The deep dish pizza was amazing, it's just way too busy and takes a long time for you to get your food. Must check out if you are in town.Food: 5/5
