Been following this lot on Instagram for over a year drooling over their pics... didn’t disappoint. Mixture of dumplings and some chicken pot stickers all on point but the stars of the day for us were the steamed pork soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) and...then the Fatboy Chicken Bun (Fried crumbed chicken, pickled carrot and radish and chilli mayo). These are 2 seriously amazing dishes!!!! With some drinks added it’s not on the cheap side, but it’s also not too bad; and you are in the Cross (though Challis Ave is a quiet beautiful spot, with good people watching as well). We also slipped into Seeethearts rooftop for a drink after on the way back to the train, see that review elsewhere.

Delicious Friday night dinner with friends. We opted for the $55 set menu/banquet, it did not disappoint. Prawn dumplings, lamb spring rolls (Devine), crab egg while omelette, which all agreed sounded s but unusual, but it was delicious, fluffy and almost melt in the mouth! The we had white fish (think was Rafa), fried rice, Asian greens, crispy beef (this was the stand out), kung po chicken and dessert selection. The sago/tapioca is served cold, would be better hot. One downside, drinks are very expensive. Overall good service, not rushed with dishes or to finish up and leave, defo be back!
An unexpected delight. Long weekend staying in Potts Point. Fei Jai was just around the corner and online reviews were v good (intrigued by Egg White Omelette with Crab [EWOC]), so why not? Outside under heater was cozy and service was pleasant and attentive. Negroni Week, and their version (the Chinegroni) with apricot and chai was delightful. The EWOC was fantastic, one of our best dishes this year, followed by dumplings and San choi bao, top notch casual dining????????
The service was very lovely and friendly. The food was not to my taste. Everything was particularly salty and out of character. We got the set menu for our table of 7 and the staff kindly swapped out the food for a friend who was allergic to seafood. There were some wins but mostly the food was below average. The San Choy bow was lovely and the deep fried beef strips were delicious. The set menu is definitely way too much food. Book a table now
Very average food, the best parts of the meal were the wine and the deep fried banana with ice cream. Unfortunately the waitress took our bottle of wine away before we had finished. We mentioned this to her but she was adamant that it was empty...

Great Food. Great Service. Best Chinese we have had in a long time. The salt pepper prawns, tofu was incredible. The Stirfrys and dumplings were amazing they were full of flavour.
Fei Jai means "fat boy" in Cantonese, and if you eat here often enough its possible you could join the Fei Jai club. Book a table now
