Ate lunch here a couple of times, and it is interesting to say the least. The food is exceptional, the confit de canard is wonderful and the pommes de terres sarlandaises brilliant. Everyone's meal was truly enjoyed. The menu revolves around duck, but there are a few non duck plates of which the fricassee aux cepes was popular It is a challenge because they don't admit to speaking English, so your schoolboy French will get a thorough testing. That said, you can get by if you try. The waiter has been mentioned elsewhere, and he is not the life and soul, but he was pretty good about volunteering a high chair, and was fine if you tried a bit Really worth a visit

This little farm is my favorite restaurant on the planet. Everything is plus que frais, impeccably executed. All local foods; their supplers ' names and phone numbers are on the cover of the menu. Mainly simple dishes that are wonderful. Foie gras for starter or main, confit de canard, maybe lamb ... and then they bring a huge cheese tray with the instruction Servez-vous copieusement. Normally you can get a table outdoors... though once they quickly moved us indoors when a storm blew in. Service is warm and genuine. All in all delightful.

A beautiful inn with a great restaurant. The food was fantastic we went there twice. The first time we ordered the 6 course tasting menu everything was so delicious, but could not finish it. The second time, we just ordered the soup (so good) main dish, dessert. The profiteroles with dark chocolate were delicious huge. Definitely a must visit restaurant, but probably helpful if you speak a little French. (Tho there were people there who were just speaking in English they seemed to do ok)

Excellent meal, very good value and choices although cheese course only consisted of one small piece of blue cheese, no other choice offered. The soup was delicious could have eaten the whole tureen! The waiter was a little abrupt in his manner, but we had been forewarned he did get a bit more friendly by the end of the evening!
