Ferme Auberge la Baie des Anges

Our first day in Provence with our French friends, and they decided an overview of the coast line would be a good setting for lunch and they were right! Spectacular view with outside and inside dining. The food was great, service good, and the...stables were excellent. This is a bit of a novelty location, and a fun place to go with friends. They have horse stables adjacent to the restaurant and the horse exercise paddock below. They use their horses as therapy animals for people with disabilities. The horses are gorgeous. Only real downer was that smoking was allowed in the outdoor tables.

Weekend lunch for a party of 12 to celebrate a birthday. Winding narrow road opens up to reveal a magnificent view of the entire bay and the town of La Ciotat. Big car park. Circular restaurant gives all a nice view. Choice of indoors or...out. Efficient service. Menu had mainly locally-sourced produce, including that from the farm. Food was good, especially the local seafood. Main course quickly (too quickly) followed the starters. Good selection of wines. Impressive desserts and an enormous cheese platter.

apart from the beautiful, very bad eating. acra with more oil than fish, milk fed pig without meat, but only fat on the plate! how can a cook even allow that this from the kitchen, $eriously! don't let them be fooled by the environment. better alternative around a break the cost!

Excellent menu Outstanding food Exceptional view and setting Attentive service Finally we have found a restaurant in La Ciotat worthy of this review and worth return visits. Definitely one to recommend to friends
