I ate here on route to Geneva airport. It is convenient for the main road from Evian to Geneva and there is parking right outside. I had my disabled mother with me. I went in to check whether they had disabled facilities and I got first class service from the moment I walked in with my enquiry. They had disabled toilet facilities and they opened a door especially to save having to negotiate several steps and uneven floors which is really important for my mother. There is one thing I still cannot get around my head in Europe is that you cannot eat at whatever time you want. If you do not fall into the "groove" of 12:00-13:45 and 19:00-21:00, you might not eat. Worst, before coming here, the 2 places we stopped by were closed on Tuesday. That rant is over, the food here is always a good bet. Today, we would of wanted to start with onion soup, but we were too late... so skip the entry, straight to the cook it yourself meats; 250 grams each, with super homemade sauces. The restaurant is located in a beautiful Savoie-style chalet and the interior is nicely decorated with historic items used by the peasants in the last centuries. Also the food was good. We had the salad with foie gras followed by perch fillets and a café gourmand. I recommend this place for lunch/dinner!

I have just reviewed "Le Denieu" in Sciez, France, and now have discovered that it is one and the same restaurant called "La Ferme des Alpes"! My first review still stands. However, it might cause confusion among new clients.
