This could be really good but is let down by a number of small but important finishes. Let me start by saying our waiter was very good though, attentive and knowledgeable. However the restaurant sets an expectation with its menu , misses the mark and disappoints. If you are charging £12 for a G&T serve it in something more than a straight glass with a couple of cubes of ice a measly slice of lemon and accompanied by a bottle of Schweppes. If you are charging £37 for steak, it shouldn’t have a thick strip of sinew through it. The wine list just states the style and country so you have no idea the name, winery etc and it’s delivered to the table with a ‘ who’s having the red and who the white’...
We recently dined at the Cow and Pig for the first time and were highly impressed. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. We will definitely be returning for another meal.
Mother’s Day booked it in advanced and sat on the table for 25minutes without even being served walked out worst atmosphere on a restaurant I’ve experienced
The service was great and the food awesome, cooked to perfection and portion size ok. The cocktails could be better though, have had better elsewhere.
