Wonderful dining experience. A good friend who has moved to the area took us here for lunch and it was an amazing Sunday lunch. Looks nothing from the outside but don’t be fooled everything here is first class. Quirky furniture, excellent food and splendid local ales. We had 2 x lamb sandwiches which were superb and 1 x fish chowder which my wife assured me is the best chowder she’s ever tasted! Bill came to less than £30 for three of us. What makes the place exceptional is the maitre d’ and his wife who will both engage with you in different but lovely ways. Genuine characters who will no doubt make a success of this venture. Just wish we lived closer!
