There seem to be reviews for the Fiery Deli at Burleigh and Robina here but I chowed down at the Robina restaurant. Twice in two days :) Situated upstairs at the Kitchens, it's a good choice if you are walking around trying to decide what to eat. The food seems healthy and nutritious, gluten-free and hormone-free. They asked if we wanted cheese, so not sure if cheese is the norm with Venezuelan, like you might expect in Mexican food. But I actually liked that the food wasn't smothered in cheese, it felt fresher and less greasy. So far, I've tried the Arepa (taco burger) and chose the delicious sounding Venezuelan Grande. It's huge, with your choice of meat, bacon, avocado and plantains! Neve...

Tried the new Chermside store on Thursday night. Still quite a few wrinkles to iron out it seems. Pros: Great to see a range of vegetarian options. Meals came out quickly once we ordered, due to the nature of the food (a lot of it is pre/slow cooked) the kitchen can plate up quickly. Arepas were tasty according to those that ordered them. Cons: The store had very loud music playing thorugh a single speaker to broadcast across the entire restaurant. Unfortunately it was too loud to have a conversation without shouting - the noise also made it difficult to order. We suggested turning it down a bit, especialy when the live music started up outside, but the waitress advised that she didn't know...

Firstly the Owner is awesome, Loves his business and is very passionate. We stopped in on a saturday lunch as were eager to try, We ordered the Large chicken nachos apart from the black beans & Huge amount of avocado which we appreciated. The rest was very bland. Was a somewhat generous serving but found we had to add habanero sauce to give it some taste. Also from what i recall the guacamole lacked no or very little lime which is a key ingredient in south american guac. Will give it another try but with something else. Book a table now
My family and I visited the fiery Deli and indulged in some tasty venezuelan beer and several very good appetizers. The Deli was counter service which was friendly and efficient. The main meals had a choice of sizes and were all gluten and dairy free. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back.
Food was okay nothing special, mix up with my order and ended up getting the wrong meal multiple times and once I finally got served my meal I was never provided with the side. Pretty disappointing considering I paid $24.50 for the meal and an extra $5.50 for the side I never received.
had there chicken nachos, some corn chips a little bit of chicken and black beans and a small tablespoon of cheese, zapped in there very used microwave oven foir a minute and there it is, flavour of chicken ok but the large serving was just yuk and this is a brand new restaurant
Ordered the large nachos, so so delicious especially with the chipotle sauce provided on the table. Probably not big enough for 2 by themselves and have to pay extra for sour cream but still recommend ! Book a table now
I recently enjoyed the vegan nachos and a delicious glass of Malbec. The food was fresh and meal size generous. Great to have fully gluten free eateries for us Coeliac's!
I went with the chilli beef plate with black beans, guacamole and rice and very much enjoyed the range of flavours though could have done with more chilli.
