Had a really awful experience at this bar yesterday with my friend and her bridal party. A group of us went in to get seated and told our group of ten was to large to be sat in the mostly empty lounge. No problem we thought, we can just split in 2 smaller groups and be sat separate. We were told that it was no different then if we were one group so we left. We walked to the restaurant part of the lodge which was less than 10 ft away to try there, and the staff was shocked they wouldn’t let us sit at the bar. Perfect place to relax after a long day exploring. The bartenders were so friendly and helpful, you can tell they were experienced and willing to make things that are not on the menu or different than the usual. Cozy spot right off of the lobby, so take your drink, sit in front of the big windows in the great room and enjoy!
Food was just OK. The salmon sandwich was super sloppy. The burger was just marginal (doubtful it is actually a Wagu grade burger). Kids mac n' cheese was a huge portion but was lumpy. We went to the stove house and had a much better experience the day before.
