One of my favorite places. Our server Matt served us twice and remembered us. He was attentive and checked us regularly. The food is always good here. I love the Spanikopita. My husband had the steak frites, but Matt noticed that we didn't eat the fries and asked that we wanted to choose another side than we ordered it again. Great service. I enjoyed the French onion soup. Was really nice. Not too salty and very tasteful. Had the muscles too. Nice broth. Meatballs are huge. Good, but the others are higher. Great drinks here. I had their monthly function that was pink for breast cancer consciousness month. It was refreshing, not sweet. Old fashions are good here. Miss the shoes with Fritten....
This place is one of the few places I choose to come back to multiple times. Service is always impeccable. We had the best latte (I'm including the best cafes as comparison). Ended up ordering a second cup. Iced Americano was delicious as well. As for the food, it's always perfect. The Benedict came with the bread toasted to perfection with the most flavorful crispy potatoes. I loved how each plate was so detailed and colorful. Example, even with the side potatoes we got regular potatoes and purple potatoes. I always recommend this place to friends to go on dates and even with their families, it's very group friendly. 10/10 coming back again even though I prefer to experience new restaurants...
This place is not uptight, a benefit , so i it isn?t Peninsula Hotel 5 star. But location , staff, food, experience,?.yes!!! Especially at FIG- John, Emily , Eduardo , all the hostess staff , cooks, chefs servers and everybody- especially bartenders!!! This is a gem. Message me for entree recs- I?ve tried everything! Lobster Cobb is one of the best things anywhere in the world and the cocktails are out of this world.
Yesterday I first saw Fig. I was greeted by a beautiful host and as I sat, a cold glass of water was quickly given, wonderful! Kitty the server arrived with a bright smile, full of recommendations and joyful conversation. To make everything from food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! I can't say more about this place. A great place to go for brunch with a great variety of choices and excellent attentive service. Lemon ricotta pancakes are awesome. Their happy hour with deals on wine, beer, and a great selection of cheese and appetizers is the place to unwind after a day of work. A hidden gem in a historic beautiful setting.
This quiet pocket feels like a visit to another time. Brilliant food and top notch service. The food is hyper consistent and well crafted. The fries are the only let down. (Just a bit dry and flat. the location is a treat, calm and restorative. Sit next to the bungalows for a comfy spot.
New favorite brunch spot in Santa Monica! We have a reservation for 4, sitting immediately and the aesthetics of this place is remarkable. They have indoor and outdoor seats by the pool. Very generous food portions with great taste! 10/10 recommended
In beautiful decor, this restoration is amazing. We were 4 at the party and loved the Fig Burger. It comes with many delicious frits. The donutballs in strawberry syrup are heavenly. Will return.
