Friendly service, good coffee will just about sum up figjam. It has a nice student vibe - it is after all close to the university. Food... well that's a different matter. Not nearly as good as the coffee - they do try, but they need someone that can control food quality and work a menu. It's a bit like food roulette - you might get something good, or lose - but the house is always the winner. Service... friendly, but we need effective as well. If you're going to place me on a table to wait - don't park me outside next to an open gate and the toilet and leave me here for 20mins in the rain. When there's another table under a heater - which you said we can't sit at because it's meant for 4 peo...
One of my favorite cafe, Figjam Cafe's quality and friendliness is consistent from the time I first went in 2015. Love the ambiance, small little words of motivation or jokes on the wall leading to the courtyard seating area at the back of the restaurant. The service staff are very friendly. Their coffee is full of flavor and so is the latte. A must try.
Love the coffee here and have tried to have a meal here a few times.Meals and drinks not coordinated. Unreasonable amount of time to receive juices after coffee arrived.Food arrived on each visit over toasted.Worst aspect is the blender with no sound guard, so random crazy noise level completely destroys the experience.Well worth the takeout coffee only.
Reasonably priced and not bad food for the most part. I have found the service to be a little inattentive and generally clueless at times depending on which one serves you, though to be fair they are very friendly when interacting with customers. Overall it's good value for money. Fair warning, it can be very noisy at the front.

I usually go to figjam 1-2 a week for coffee and brunch. I love their smashed avocado, great flavour and the perfect size. They also have a really nice court yard at the back of the cafe which is great in summer. I would highly recommend figjam for a sunday brunch!
Went here for breakfast with friend. Amazing coffee but... my meal was overcooked, appeared a bit burned but cold in the same time. My friends pancakes looked amazing but I can't guarantee for the taste
Our cycle group stopped here for morning coffee. We were able to pake our bikes in the rear courtyard seating area. Ambience, service, cakes and coffee were all very good.
The food here is pretty standard for bfasts/lunches (eggs/bacon etc). Nothing out of this world, bad certainly not bad. There are always a lot of people in this place....

It's been a while, but I still remember the coffee. Unforgettable brew. Last time I went, the name of the coffee was "orgasmic" and I can vouch for the accuracy :)
My coffee was as weak as dish water. No colour and hardly any coffee flavour. I got a full refund.....never to return!
