I was recommended this Fire Wok in a gluten free group as one of the few safe gluten free Chinese restaurants in the DMV. I ached for (good) Chinese food since my celiac diagnosis and it has been so hard to find. Another restaurant closer to me glutened me on about half of my visits. Fire Wok has not glutened me yet after about 10 visits. The food is always so tasty, enjoyable, and quick. Without exaggeration, if I lived in or around Arbutus, I would likely finance the entire restaurant with how often I'd like to order. This is a great spot for picking up Chinese food. They offer all the classic takeout dishes you'd expect, like lo mein, General Tso's chicken, fried rice, and more. I've tried their Singapore mai fun and shrimp mai fun, and both were flavorful and tasty. While their portion sizes are a bit smaller than those at other Chinese restaurants nearby, the staff is friendly, and I appreciate their convenient location in Arbutus. I will definitely keep coming back for their food!
I was really hoping this would be my go to Chinese spot. The reviews were pretty good and everyone said the food was good. Unfortunately I can not say that I’ll be coming back or ordering from here again. The food tastes refries as if yesterdays food was used for today. The chicken was hard and crispy and the broccoli chicken was oily. The fries tasted old as well. Not very happy with it. If you have a gluten intolerant, please, do yourself the favor and come get some. I hadn't had general tso's in so long, and I nearly cried. 100/10. The people were nice but the food was TERRIBLE. The chicken wings taste like they were double friend. As if yesterdays leftover wings were refried today upon order. My shrimp egg roll didn’t even have a piece of a shrimp in it. Never coming back here. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable compared to other places! I got takeout for dinner, and it cost between $1 and $10 per person. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. I highly recommend trying the fried rice, dumplings, and wonton soup!

Without a doubt, Fire Wok is the absolute best Chinese restaurant in the Baltimore area! They offer delivery (within 45 minutes) to a surprisingly wide range from their location! The quality is unbeatable and everything is always fresh! Can you tell I love this place?
