I feel bad sticking a nail in this restaurant's coffin but...Went here on a Saturday night at prime time and it was basically empty. It never filled up. It's a very attractive space but it felt sad. Waiter was fine but seemed to have a little attitude. Seemed to to want to rush us along even though no one was there. Food was ok. Not bad. But the prices are more in line with a NYC restaurant so the food wasn't good enough to justify that. I've wanted to try this place for a long time based on the look of of it and the menu. I'm disappointed it was not what I hoped. Don't expect it to stick around and I won't be back.
We sat outside in the back patio area on a beautiful summer morning. It was a lovely place to have brunch. But the food was very pricey for what we got. I ordered the chopped chicken salad. It had plenty of delicious chicken on it but very few other ingredients besides a ton of lettuce. I also got an iced tea. No basket of bread or any other food was served on the side. Overall, it was a lackluster meal for the price. Might go back and try a different entrée. I liked sitting outside enough to give it another try. Plus it’s one of the few outdoor dining places that isn’t right on a busy street. A good thing.
This makes the difference between Ho-hum and an excellent experience. I was only twice, but I found a staff who took care of my joy. No wrong behavior, but the real one. An intimate atmosphere and a carefully thought-out menu. No hurry. I want you to learn something. A welcoming experience. Try it! JRM
Our favorite place in the neighborhood. Great atmosphere, predictably delicious food. We held a private event upstairs and couldn't have been more happy. So glad to have Firefly in Wilmette!

A little pricey but the food and portion size was worth it. Atmosphere is great. Only fault is parking. Really recommend if you are looking for a unique meal!
Waited for a long time to get order taken. No acknowledgement by waiter. We ordered cocktails which the seemed to forget until reminded.

The pork shank was fantastic. We’ve been here maybe 4-5 times, but this was our best meal yet.
