I am not sure why 'Firenze ' is not nearer the top of the restaurant rankings in Wedemark as a colleague and I ate dinner here and we both thought the food and the restaurant ambiance was very good. Prices were also reasonable and service was good... I would certainly recommend it. We both had the Scampi al Forno to start, which was excellent, followed by the Tagliatelle with Fillet Steak and the Linguine with Salmon (and I added some Gorgonzola). I really enjoyed my starter and my linguine and the olives and bread we had were also excellent. Including a 0.5L Bitburger Beer and a glass of Merlot the total cost of our meal was €49.80, which I think was very good value. Firenze in my mind cert...
Very very good meal here! I went for the tortellini in brodo (soup pasta). nicely cooked and tasty. For the main i went for a Pizza Diavola, nice sausage hot peppers! Simple food that's cooked really well. The deserts are in the fridges and are fresh made in house everyday. They speak german of course but also speak english very well and italian (which isn't a suprise). they were quite taken to speaking italian with us. Definitely a place to visit if your in the area.

Atmosphere is good, not too fancy, adequate waiters. Pizza is good also nothing fancy. Parking is OK and easy enough to find. There was enough room although it was not quiet.
