A group of 5 went to the Fireside for supper last week...chose this spot mainly because of the convenient location to where we were staying. We were very impressed with the extensive menu which offered full course meals, sandwiches, soups, salads and delicious desserts. There are several specials available and on the night of our visit one of those specials was a rib dinner...very tasty indeed as were the chicken tenders, burger, clubhouse sandwich and fish and chips. I was too full for dessert but my husband and son shared a piece of coconut cream pie and the other 2 each enjoyed a slice of caramel apple pie served with ice cream. Service was friendly and prompt and the bill was quite reaso...
We went as a party of 6 around 11am, and let me tell you, never go as 6, you'll wait forever. They have free wifi for one hour, but we didn't get seated until 12:15pm, as we stood in line for over an hour because we were a larger party. We then had to wait another 15 mins before we got served, and 15 more minutes before our food came. The food was pretty good, but not worth the long wait. From when we entered to restaurant to when we got our food was almost a 2 hour wait.
The good: gigantic portions for an excellent price. The service is always excellent. It's a go to for my husband and I when we are out of ideas for new things to try. They food is always fairly good . Not crazy omg I can't stop thinking about the meal 2 days later good , but a satisfying decent meal for a reasonable price
Recently enjoyed two dinners here over the weekend both equally as good... huge portions... good prices... fast and great service... highly recommend the souvlaki dinner you will have enough for lunch the next day!!! Definitely will be a go to when back in the area in July!!
