Extremely disappointing!. Simply put this cafe needs one VERY VERY BIG reality check! $15 odd for a satay chicken burger on turkish bread with a side of chips $3 extra... Actually served on a crusty bread roll ? ok no problem, but at least advise the customer you do not have turkish bread if indeed that was the problem. The chicken, with no exaggeration was aprox 30-35 grams, it did not even cover a quarter of the bread roll, it was however supplemented with a good handful of mixed lettuce leaves. If I wanted a salad sandwich I would of ordered a salad sandwich! as for the satay, well lets just say we are closer to the north pole than anything remotely connected to satay! $3 extra...read mor...
Went to Vodafone @ Garden City to sign for a new contract. While they are checking my company credit, I got some spare time to go out for a coffee. Did not feel like to have coffee at Gloria Jean so walked down further to this nearest café. Felt very thirsty so I tried the coffee frappe. Not a bad choice but it was so plain and weak and supposed that I could not complain about cold drink like that would be very strong coffee flavour. However, there were only two staff working behind the counter, I could imagine the wait-time if it was at rush hours and that was why there were negative response from other reviews. Well, no comment.....

I fucked very thirsty, so I tried the coffee wrapper. no bad choice, but it was so simple and weak and suspected that I could not complain about cold drink so much, would be very strong coffee taste. However, there were only two employees who worked behind theke, I could imagine the waiting time when it was in a hurry hours and therefore there were negative reviews of other reviews. no comments.

I insisted that it was her fault and that was unprofessional. the only reason for the 2 points is because a junior gave it to me without paying under the duress of her man who gave her a look that could kill. coffee was okay. nothing special. the cakes were dry.

Terrible!! There was about 8 customers in the cafe, with just a family of 3 in front of us ordering a high tea. We wanted a coffee, 2 pieces of ready cut cake and a smoothie. We waited about 20 mins, the mixed berry smoothie wasn't nice at all, it had some funny looking brown stuff around the edge. The cake was ok but it was pre-made so no effort on their behalf!

not to drink. after the payment for coffee and cake I asked after a few glasses of lead water and was said I had to buy bottled water because they no longer tap water. Nice.
