It was a spontaneous first visit to Solingen, just for a quick look around and we stumbled on this fischerstube at lunchtime! Unusual to find a dedicated fish restaurant ANYWHERE in Germany , let alone one that serves rather more than the ubiquitous and insipid...pangasius and Lachsfilet. solicitous service, a nice glass of wine and a generous well cooked piece. of Hake Bergisch style. If I were to make one observation , as an Englishman ,I would say that the overall size of the serving was rather too large
