Fish at 30 Lake - Table reservation

The appetizers and entrees were very good. Service was good too. The problem is that dessert was really disappointing. The Root Beer float was served so poorly. Presentation is everything and they missed it on this, and it really caused us to leave the meal disappointed. The presentation was this: a tall glass plopped in front of us with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream. And a bottle of root beer plopped in front us No whipped cream. No cherry on top. Not even served on a plate with a doily or something nice. It was very after the thought looking and really surprised us that more attention was not given to the presentation. We had been wanting to visit Lake 30 for a while and finally decided to go there to celebrate Tim's 55th birthday. We were extremely impressed by everything - the delicious food, top-notch service, and beautiful ambiance. The seafood we ordered was probably the best we've ever had, and the Crème brulée we shared for dessert was perfect! Meeting Chef Matt, who came out to wish Tim a happy birthday, was the cherry on top of a perfect evening.

The Tuna Nachos starter was excellent and perfect for sharing. The mussels were also really good. Unfortunately, they had run out of the special Snapper dish by 7:15, which was a bit disappointing. The staff were very friendly. The tables for 2 were quite close together, creating a loud and not very intimate atmosphere, similar to Paris. Overall, the ambience was nice.

Great restaurant and food. Had a glitch with a ew server, but the Manger Clayton saved the day. He waited on us and make everything right again. Outside seating was great.
