we have hunted some good old-fashioned fish and chips and this place was the closest with good reviews where we were. we had fried a regular cod and a grilled beside a side of fries and a side of mosses. the fried fish tasted super! the teig was crisp and tasty. it accompanied the fish well. the grill was also delicious (at:. it takes twenty five minutes for a grilled fish). after adding all flavors it tasted light and tasteful. the ground heaps were well added, but required much more salt and pepper than were added. the pommes were an absolute disappointment. they didn't look fresh and had no krach. they were very muddy and just looked out and...read more
Adequate. I go here often as it is only down the road from my work and sometimes you can't beat the odd craving for chips..or pie, or both Chips are adequate, not delicious but not horrible. There are often queues at lunchtime so best to go early, especially on a Friday If you want a pie or anything other than chips you may have to wait a while for things to cook, there's not much space inside to wait, especially if the queue is growing and one of the chef's is quite rude and generally tells you where NOT to stand but isn't very helpful! The lady that works there seems quite friendly though.
large fish chips and fried scampi are also great. the prizes are quite reasonable! make them ready to smell like pommes on the way out (at least all their friends will know that they have fried something this day, only by closer proximity to them). better order and take away!
we had a party in the free to celebrate an occasion. fish and chips combined with champagne. fish bones were excellent. our order was delivered on time, the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. all our guests loved eating. can not recommend enough. Book a table now
I went to eat with my family. this is a really good place to go for a lunch loved the sushi and fish. the interiors and decorations of this place are very attractive I would recommend you to go to this place.
great fish and chips shop. always serve beautiful fish and chips. I usually buy takeaway and eat in Regent’s park when the weather is good. highly recommended for real fishing and chips.
