This restaurant, for 19 years has been run bu Abdul, who is up front. He runs the bar, takes orders, delivers the food, clears away, and then takes your money. The other part of the business is Larosey who is an outstanding chef. The food is consistently great and at a very reasonable cost. I start with a large dish of garlic prawns , 7 Euros, and either a large whole grilled Sole, on the bone 11 Euros, or a fillet steak with potatoes or chips, 15 Euros. Both meals satisfy large appetites, I don't seem able to finish my steak so I take the rest home. The restaurant is very busy and you need to book in advance, it may help if you say you are a friend of the General.
Read all the great reviews so was looking forward to some good fish. We were disappointed. I had the fish mixed grill my tuna steak was very over done dry, salmon the same. I had a white fish cooked nicely and other seafood including large prawns. Starter was fisherman 's salad with tinned tuna. Quite odd and not that nice. Husband had paella but felt it was very 'wet '. It was busy and several tables seemed on friendly terms with the waiter. He was running the whole place on his own which meant service was slow.... but you forgave him that as he was trying hard.

Si usted está buscando comida fantástica cocinada y servida por gente humilde y amable este es el lugar para usted. el filete filete (raro) con salsa de queso azul era absolutamente devine. La mejor comida que he tenido en toda la semana, no pagues precios ridículos por buena comida solo ven aquí y déjate llevar. Mi nuevo lugar favorito para comer.
El pescado se cocina a la perfección. Mención especial a la Lubina o Lubina con salsa asiática. También vale la pena probar el filete. Carta de vinos tal vez limitada pero es de excelente calidad. Todo a precios muy competitivos también. Completado con una sonrisa amistosa. ¡No podías vencerlo con un palo grande!
Our second visit to the Fisherman’s. The owner is so friendly and welcoming creating such a lovely warm atmosphere. The food is served fresh and efficiently. Very tasty and the Sangria went down a treat. Would definitely go next time we’re In Lanzarote
Excellent Host, gorgeous food, good wine. Never rushed, food was amazing. Best fillet steak I have had for a long time. Don't be put off by the simple look.

Thoroughly enjoyed the green lipped mussels and the sea bass could not have been fresher. Such good value too. Very popular so worth booking a table.
Casual dining. Basic setting, no music and lacked ambience but it seems to busy. I wouldn't rush back.
