A very good, cozy restaurant with delicious food, good selection of drinks. The staff is very nice and friendly, also like to explain unknown seafood for the lay people. The restaurant is located on the pedestrian area to the promenade and is not accessible by car. Parking at the station. Card payment is possible. My personal recommendation when visiting Borkum Island!
2x times a year we make vacation on borkum. fishermans koeken is our living room. I felt that the menu was already eaten and was always enthusiastic. we are 3 generations, everyone finds what. my enkelin grew up outside in the beach basket. the reservation works perfectly and despite personal change, much more common, always our favorite restaurant on board.
the menu offers the right food for everyone. we were never disappointed, the drinks are always very good. the service very polite, special desires were welcomed and implemented accordingly. we are very happy and look forward to the summer in the koeken.
