A few years ago, I didn't come back to the son of a ****, thank you street. It was part of my favorite addresses in this street filled with tourist traps.Last visit last January. Solo evening, crowded restaurant, I notice that the establishment is always very popular, which is a good point. I decide for the menu at 31,90€ velvety butternut entry and bacon chips, beef pear dish tealote sauce, dessert doselle coulis with red fruit. mixed result. The velvety of butternut didn't score me at all. always as pleasant to come to your place. a Lyon menu, which evolves according to the seasons. poultry liver cakes, pralines, quenel. portions are generous and fares are more than correct. little more it is outside the hypertouristic side being next to it. a treat
I expected better: beef piece with parsley butter sauce ... not crazy! not made, while I have tasted some butter and parsley sauces, but there I have not especially enjoyed, and meat that does not even melt in the mouth, products especially qualitative.
We booked this restaurant for 16 people at noon, and was served 1 hour after arriving (since we had already chosen the dishes during the reservation). The dishes were very copied and very good! And the very nice servers. I keep a very good memory.

a common feeling around the table: not bad but not good at all. an ordinary cuisine without really taste and research. If you don't want to eat a thankful street, go your way. There's a better place.
