Very disappointed. We were visiting Birmingham and had amazing experiences at the local restaurants, but this one was the exception. We came for Brunch. The food was horrible. Limited menu. We ordered Beignets (this was the only food that was very good), Five Burrito with Hash Browns (it was cold, no flavor, overcooked, and those were the worse hash browns that I?ve ever had), Chicken and Waffles (cold, waffle was hard and the taste in general wasn?t good). The chicken and waffles were extremely OK. They use Bone-in chicken for them (weird) and then charge you a little extra for boneless, which, we?re 3 chicken tenders they thawed out lol. But aside from that it was a cool location and I enjoyed the live music ???? I went out specifically for C&W and ended up here so I?ll have to go back and try something else on the menu Book a table now
We had a fantastic time at restaurant 5! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. Although it was a bit loud inside, we opted to sit outside where it was peaceful. This place is perfect for a romantic date night. We definitely plan on returning!
FIVE is always a treat. The jalapeño pineapple ???? drink was tasty as ever. My chicken and waffles ???? were delicious. The guy bringing the live performance was a treat. I love the vibe in this spot.
I?ve been to brunch here a few times and the two best things are the Shrimp and Grits, and the Chicken and Waffles. The **** Mary bar is AMAZING! Every time I come I have a great time with great food.
