Today, I went to a restaurant craving a cheeseburger, but unfortunately, their policy is to cook it well done. I prefer rare burgers, so I was disappointed to not be able to get one cooked to my liking. I find it frustrating to pay $12 for a burger that I can't enjoy to my preference. I don't understand why this policy is in place, especially since there are no health concerns like COVID mentioned. It just seems unnecessary.
I was on Long Island and hungry. I've always liked 5 Guys burgers even though they've gotten more expensive post-Covid. My burger was fine. Not terrific but fine. My order of little fries almost fell out of the bag, I received so many. But, EIGHTEEN DOLLARS AND CHANGE for a burger, fries and soft drink? No. There are far too many places, not fast food joints, with better burgers for less money.
This is a repeat location for us after visiting Jones Beach. Clean restrooms, relaxed staff pushes our food without issue and happy to customize the cook temp on the hot dog for our particular toddler (not too crispy or char) but perfectly within food safety requirements.Kid-friendliness: Our toddler feels comfortable here and even helps bus the table to the correct bins!
Love five guys!! #1 burger spot when I'm craving a burger. I love that you can add as many toppings as you want and it's all part of the nice price. The service is always so fun and friendly at this location and the free peanuts and extra fries is something you can't beat Book a table now
The food is fine but it is wildly overpriced. I’m vegetarian so I get the grilled cheese when I go here with friends, and $7 for that is crazy.
Great customer service. Food was excellent. Fries were salted to perfection and burgers were Divine. Felt like Zoidberg eating anchovies.
I recently tried the grilled cheese sandwich at this restaurant and it was amazing! I highly recommend it.
This place has deteriorated a lot, the fries are terrible watery, the burger I give it 3 Book a table now
