one of staff said they do not provide WIFI but I saw the aonther staff looks like owner of the place provide WIFI password to other customer. environment is so nice to work with laptop but no INTERNET and expensive. Also, when I walked in nobody greeting or welcome I often do not expect in NYC tho so I went to KIOSK and ordered. I ordered 'From here ' on KIOSK but, They gave me plastic cutlery and to-go box. it seems they do not care cx at all.By the way one of the staff cannot speak ENGLISH well. and she presume I ordered Latte. and keep staring me and yelling and walking towards to me.and I said I did not order and she was staring at me so I staring at her too and she show me awkward smile...
My favorite part about this cafe is its location. It is uniquely situated on the park in Stuytown which makes for a great and green atmosphere. It is also huge compared to most cafes in NYC which helps make it feel like you almost have the place to yourself some days.You would also probably never come here unless you lived in or were visiting Stuytown which is kind of sad.As for food and coffee, I didn’t think it was anything special but you won’t be spitting it out by any means! I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Five Stuy Café, and I can confidently say it is a gem worth discovering. First and foremost, the coffee is exceptional. Along with the desserts. Super yummy! The staff at The Five Stuy Café are equally impressive. They are warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Can you please tell the white guy cashier in the morning to have a bit of common sense? I was picking up an iced coffee to go for work while i had a bag of bagel from another place and he told me outside food is not available here. I understand that but did not even have the sense to ask me first and assume? Love the place and food but this particular person is the one that kinda ruins your day. The iced drinks are satisfactory, the chai not as strong as I would like. The carrot bread just perfect like homemade. The fries very crisp, and egg and toast meal good quality but potatos not to my liking. My god son had frozen yogurt , very good quality and not too sweet for kids.
Food is very expensive. They advertise having Wi-Fi but they do not. Generally long lines and high prices. Kid-friendliness: The place is absolutely full of kids. They run rampant and it’s quite loud.
