what a surprise in the black forest! we thought we would not carve and season away, but found this restaurant and had soou luck, lamb, thunfish, light salat with searettich, risotto with fish and great desserts to taste. the prices are reasonable and the courts simply excellent! every dish is simply perfectly planned and thought out. also the traditional black forests cirschtorte was nice and original served. not a long time here! we were with children and they also had a menu for them and they were thrilled! the service is caring and fast. all so polite and full of rats! not to miss in donaueschingen!
We had a great stay here with you at the hotel. We could spend 2 wonderful days with you (by chance, because we had participated in the competition.We were warmly welcomed and well managed both in the evening and in the morning(On the evening grandiose 4 gang menu.We had one of the newly rebuilt rooms(lightly modern,very beautiful We enjoyed the time very much. we enjoyed an evening meal with white asparagus, steak and dessert. the spade came with a cream sauce that was simply excellent. when we were in Germany during this seasonal dish, we had many sauces and this was the best. the steak was a small, thick filet, perfectly prepared and very delicate. we appreciate the emphasis on quality instead of quantity. (the portions in many German restaurants are too large and we leave a lot to eat). very nice restaurant with white tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles. would recommend it.
Gaumenschmaus, who actually deserves 10 stars! Products from the region and meat not from the big market but from the farmer around the corner! And that at fair prices! A taste explosion and balm for heart and soul! Rooms are modern and comfortable. With much attention to detail, which creates an absolute feel-good oasis!

1. Hotel has been renovated. Rooms are at the latest. Attention, however, not all! Unfortunately, my TV reception spun... 2. Breakfast is balanced and abundant (soft-cooked eggs are available) 3. Restaurant is quite expensive. For this, the portions are quite neat.
