this is a pleasant informal restaurant where we enjoyed the flames. these are an Alsatian speciality that is more like a very thin pizza with French/alsatic toppings. we ordered two of them and the second came only after we had eaten the first, so it would be normal to order two different. obviously they are to be divided, and each table is provided with a pizza cutter to allow the mozens to share the flammekueche, but they want. the salads and some other dishes are also summarized on the menu, a pleasant experience for an inexpensive, simple and informal meal.
When I read the menu at the restaurant door, I couldn't understand what the speciality would be from the house, but after I had seen some costumers eating the food, I saw that we talked about a "art of" crepe. the waitress explained what the deeds are and from which region comes. we had light and super salty delicious flamen’ and sweet. we just loved it!
I went with a bunch of friends and we all asked for the full menu (entry, flammenkueches and desert). But we could have just asked for the flammenkueches because you can have as many as you want! You get one and order the other and more and more and savoury and sweet... I was very full at the end but very happy :) the food baby was happy too.

we didn't cost the meal at flam. they have nice and friendly staff, but the flame-cakes are not our kind of eating unfortunately. bland tasting and soggy in the big middle. many people eat there, so maybe it's an acquired taste? to the Italian version (pizza.) live and learn!
Once one was gone, out came the next! We dinned in a large group, and each was as tasty as the next! Not very french but low-key fun place to eat.

We ordered a Chicken Caesar salad and of course their specialty La Champignons Frais' and it was simply tasty. I would definitely visit again.

delicious Tartes-Fambées! especially the chèvre miel one! great service! cozy atmosphere! perfect banana split dessert! I love it!
Definately good for a mighty appetite. Not the most gourmet choice but the food is quite good at reasonable prices.
