"Stopped in for lunch and were seated right away.I had the lobster eggs Benedict and it wasn’t that good. The lobster was tough and didn’t taste too fresh. The roasted potatoes weren’t roasted long enough.Service was good.Parking is easy."

Highly rated by others, this restaurant is located in a great looking building but set up as little more than a cafeteria. Food is the biggest problem. The large Caesar was average-sized with ample bacon and cheese but covered with enough very plain croutons to make a sandwich. Wings were over cooked and dry, lobster risotto was less than average and far from great. Prices were more in line with a high end French restaurant. There are better places for reasonably priced better prepared food. Overall a disappointment.

Probably don't pick a Restaurant in Cape Breton according to their Online Menu's -outdated from last year and priced much lower Online then In House for Summer of 2023. You'll be in for a Shock. Service Flavor was nothing short of Exceptional. The Giant Viola and the Caesar Salad are my voted Highlights. Don't be Concerned about the Planko Haddock -its done to Perfection. Tartar on Point. Not sure bout the Root Beer Ribs -Barq's or Mugs? Couldn't Tell. ?

Had a nice meal here. Got the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and the pita and hummus to start. The pita was nice with a good hummus. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the sweet potatoe fries were great! Now there were some more expensive options on the menu. Some of the seafood stuff but I thought my meal was well priced. Service was nice as well.

Great service and a pleasant setting BUT if you choose vegetarian (tofu) and a salad choice be prepared to feel ripped off. A $20. Sandwich Meal option becomes 28. Really? Instead of chicken you charge for tofu? Shame on you for the money grab. A lovely evening turned sour.
