"Very friendly staff, fast service, and delicious food! Lots of interesting different options, and our server explained the less familiar ones. They have a lot of quintessential West African foods, as well as several I’d never heard of before. Tried a few different dishes, and each one was unique and incredibly flavourful. I will definitely be back for more!"

We went yesterday to check out the spot since I 'd been watching Facebook Reels of Nigerian cuisine, and I must say Flavours Restaurant did not disappoint. A person we believe to be an owner came by and was very amenable to our stay and made suggestions as to how to order for our first time.We started with Puff Puff which the server called Nigerian Timbits (lol) and they were really fluffy and soft and reminded us of a semi-sweet fritter. Then we had the authentic Jollof Rice with chicken and plantain. The sauce/spice was really nice but our favourite was the African Signature Meal. We had the Okele Iyan (pounded yam) which was pounded to give a unique consistency and used similar to Injera i...

My wife and I wanted to try something different, and she saw them at the women's show, so we decided to give it a try. Food was full of African Nigerian flavours and nice and hot temperature it was also spicy, but you can request how spicy you wanted it, and we ordered medium. Since it was our first time one the owners suggested a few items we should try, and we did. We started off with a couple of meat pie and the puff puff, the meat pie crust was amazing and the puff put kinda reminder me of an east Indian called Pholourie but a bit sweeter. Then we also ordered Jollof rice and Suya. Loved the Jollof rice, but the Suya was a bit dry for me and wished it was cooked to order as it was most l...

It was our first time trying Nigerian Food and it was such a wonderful and fun experience! I loved my dinner date here. The music was great, food was so good and so much fun to eat, but my favourite part was the staff! Everyone was so kind and they are such great people. They took great care of us and they even showed me how to eat my pounded yam the Nigerian way! it felt like we were invited into someone’s home, it was great. My boyfriend said that this is his favourite restaurant that we have eaten at this year and I agree! We definitely will be returning to try more food from this great local restaurant :

We had a great experience having lunch here. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they were so welcoming of our toddler. It's always great when you feel welcome in a restaurant as a whole family. Food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying the meal. Definitely would recommend this place to a friend and will be back to try more dishes!
