We enjoyed dining outside on a beautiful afternoon for lunch. The hush puppies appetizer was unusually delicious. The combination of flavors made it irresistible. The shrimp and lobster toppings were sweet and perfectly complemented the appetizer. We shared an order, which was plenty for both of us. The shrimp and grits were also good, with the grits being the standout part of the meal. The texture was just right and very flavorful. We also shared a large entree, which was more than enough for us. While many customers were ordering sandwiches, we decided to try the traditional items since we were only in town for a few days. What a great venue. Don’t let the location deceive. Food was excellent I had the sheepshead daily fish. The place has a great vibe lively and informal. A very busy lunchtime but plenty of staff and first class customer service. It well deserves its reputation and is excellent value for money. Great view of the river and the massive cruise ship moored next door.
We had a great table outside with a wonderful view. Our server was fantastic and made suggestions that were excellent. The food was great. We will definitely return.
