However, the more pressing concern for me is the consistently unwelcoming attitude I experience each time I visit. Today, while I was searching through my wallet for my debit card—passing over several frequently used credit cards—the snarky teenager behind the counter snapped at me, "WE ONLY TAKE CASH OR DEBIT!" Yes, I know, I’ve seen the five signs about it, which is exactly why I was trying to find my debit card. I really have to crave a croissant to tolerate the unfriendly staff. Whenever I come here, I get the impression that my presence is an inconvenience to them. I hope some new businesses open in the area and encourage Fleur du Jour to update and improve their service. I really enjoyed the pastry I had; it was wonderfully flaky and had just the right amount of sweetness. I stopped by around 2 PM, and by that time, many of the pastries were already sold out, leaving only two flavored pastries and five croissants. Since they close at 4:30 PM, if you're hoping for a larger selection, I suggest arriving earlier. Also, just a note: they don’t heat up the pastries.

The only drawback is the coffee, which unfortunately hasn't impressed me. I tried it twice and found it lacking in the right balance of milk, foam, and coffee flavor. While I understand that coffee isn't their primary focus, some training in that area could really elevate the overall experience. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place—the pastries alone make it worth the visit!

The croissant was exceptional—fresh and delightful. The coffee was quite good as well. However, there is limited seating indoors. My only concern is the pricing of the coffee. It feels off that a cortado and a macchiato are priced the same as a cappuccino. At $5, it seems overpriced given that they contain significantly less milk. Book a table now

I recently did a taste test and bought croissants from all the bakeries within a three-block radius on St. Clair. Fleur du Jour really stands out from the rest; their croissants are wonderfully flaky on the outside and light, fluffy, and buttery on the inside. It's definitely worth a visit!

The raspberry croissant pastries are honestly the best things I've ever tasted. If I had to live on them alone, I would be completely satisfied. Their artisanal cakes are not only beautiful but also a delight to eat. Seriously, just go and enjoy it. This place is fantastic!

Fleur du Jour is by far my favorite bakery in Toronto! The only drawback is that their pastries are so delicious they often sell out fast. The croissants are buttery, flaky, and delightfully light. My favorites are the kouign amann and the apple tart!

I ordered a café Americano along with an almond croissant, and I have to say, the almond croissant was one of the best I've ever had. If you're in the St. Clair West area and in the mood for a delicious pastry, I highly recommend Fleur du Jour. Book a table now

I frequent many cafes in the area, and this one stands out as the best. Their baked goods are fresh and top-notch, and the coffee is always delicious. The last time I had such a wonderful experience in a cafe was in France.
