Very good burgers and hot dogs! The shoestring fries were average, some were overcooked and hard they lost the interior softness during cooking. The onion rings were very good. I like 5 Guys and Nifty's and can honestly say that Flip is just as good as both but in a different way. They all have their subtle differences in a good way. Flip's burgers are juicy and eat much bigger than they look in the bun. They were pretty thick and the what seemed to be a potato bun was a perfect compliment to the burger. Onions rings delicious. Going to try the steak fries next time. They have a self service station for ketchup and mustard. There are around 6-7 booths inside, window stools and several outdoo...

Came in on a Friday night. Place is nicely decorated and clean. Counter staff was pleasant. Jalapeno hot dog was very nice ; the chili had a nice bite and they melted real cheese over the dog, which was also flavorful. The roll was a little hard. Chop house burger had nice flavors and toppings, but the patty was cooked to full well done and past having any juicy flavor. Flip Chips were disappointing. The concept was good, but they were flavorless and served with a cheese sauce that was bland and thick to the point of being unappetizing. Overall recommended.

Overall a decent experience. the food was pretty good. Burger was cooked very well done, and the “fried egg” was more like an overdone hard boiled egg. Not remotely runny at all. The service was.. weird. Walked in for the first time and didn’t know the rules and when I tried to ask the girl at the counter she kind of stared at me blankly, offered no help. Realized after a couple minutes that you order and then seat yourself and wait. But it was an off putting first couple minutes. I’d be willing to try again but it was really just okay.

Flip City Shakes is straight up the best burgers in the area. After ordering, it may take some time for them to cook up the burger and fries. All food is cooked upon ordering and is totally worth the wait. Flip City Shakes offers no nonsense burgers and fries that is reminiscent of happier days before fast food chains dominated the suburban landscape.
