During our trip to South Carolina to visit friends, we had a layover in North Carolina and decided to stop at a wing and chicken restaurant called Flippin Wings. My wife and I were really impressed by the generous portions and the incredible flavors. I ordered the Thai chili chicken sandwich, which was slightly spicy but absolutely delicious, while my wife opted for the plain breaded chicken sandwich, which she found very tasty as well. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience; discovering this place was a delightful surprise. If we're ever passing through again, I will definitely make it a point to stop by!
I ordered the Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper wings, and unfortunately, both were quite bland. The Lemon Pepper tasted mostly like burnt pepper with no hint of lemon flavor. The Garlic Parmesan was drenched in melted Parmesan cheese, and I couldn't taste any garlic at all. I also tried the ranch and bleu cheese dips, but neither was enjoyable. Given the high prices, I expected the wings to be fantastic, so I was really disappointed. On a positive note, the customer service was excellent.
The wings were incredibly disappointing. I ordered boneless wings, but what I received were just small pieces of chicken. I also tried the teriyaki wings, which were simply doused with sauce straight from the bottle. If you haven't had the chance to dine at this location yet, I strongly advise against it. With such low-quality food, I doubt this place will stay open for long. It's hard to believe anyone can mess up wings this badly.
I won't lie—I was just in the mood for some wings, and this place was conveniently located nearby. I’d give it a solid 7 out of 10. I tried the honey BBQ, lemon pepper, and mild flavors. The wings were saucy, moist, and tender. They were quite good; I wouldn’t say they were the best I’ve ever had, but they definitely rank high. The only downside is that parking is a bit tricky. Overall, I would definitely go back!

Messy but Delicious! The wings are sizable and made to order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait—but it's absolutely worth it. I ordered the kickin' garlic and barely managed to eat half before feeling full. The blue cheese is house-made and equally delicious. I highly recommend Flippin Wings! I’ll definitely be back to try a chicken sandwich next time, and you can choose your sauce flavor too!
The food was absolutely delicious! I had the garlic parmesan wings, and my friends really enjoyed their dishes as well. The fries were unlike anything I've ever tasted—sweet and savory at the same time! They were served hot and crispy. The only downside is that you should be ready to wait a long time for your food, even when there's no line.
The wings are generous in size, which is the only positive aspect of my visit. The sauce is just okay and somewhat watery. The flavors aren't impressive, either. If you only have an hour for lunch, I wouldn't recommend coming here. Although they claim to cook everything fresh, waiting 40 minutes feels excessive. Plus, they forgot my drink.
After the disastrous wings experience we had at the big chain during last year’s Super Bowl, we were hesitant to order wings again. However, these wings were AMAZING! The staff was fantastic and attentive. The honeycue sauce was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning!

Their chicken wings are flavorful and huge. We won't be going to any other wing shop ever.
