I've picked up from Florence Ravioli before, but today was my first time visiting the actual restaurant. When I arrived, Laura greeted me warmly instead of just turning me away. She turned on all the lights and made me feel genuinely welcomed. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced for homemade meals. There's nothing better than enjoying great food alongside excellent service!
Florence is always one of my first stops when I get back into scotch plains. The subs on that fresh bakery bread are amazing and the raviolis speak for themselves. The owner always mixes it up with awesome authentic italian specials that don’t disappoint. The recent remodel gives you that great small italian deli feel. Florence is a must try if you havent yet.

Literally amazing! This hidden gem in Scotch Plains feels like an Italian kitchen at home. Fresh, authentic, Italian meals and specialties at great prices coupled with a friendly and fun atmosphere make this place a regular stop for me. From their individual dinners, fresh soups, amazing stromboli and creative sandwiches, I give it an A .
Excellent ravioli. I pick up a few dozen a month. Their stuffed breads and meatballs are also excellent. They also have cold cuts make three foot long subs for parties (order in advance, as they have to order the bread). Definitely recommended.
I wasn't sure how good the food would be since I heard Florence was under new management. They've never disappointed in the past, and they didn't disappoint on our most recent occasion. Everything was really delicious. Great job!
This is a fantastic shopping spot! They have the best Stromboli I've enjoyed since I was a child!
