Nach dem heutigen Abendessen verabschieden uns nun leider endgültig vom Restaurant Florida. Nach vielen Jahren mit sehr wechselhaften Besuchen, haben wir immer versucht die positiven Erlebnisse mit zu nehmen. Es gab immer wieder kleine Missverständnisse und leider viele Personalwechsel. Nach 8 Jahren als Gäste, inklusive unserem Hochzeitsessen im Jahr 2015, erwartet man aber doch, dass man wenigstens mit der Zeit die Namen zu den Gesichtern kennt. Unsere heutige Bestellung war aufgrund des gut besuchten Restaurants eher bodenständig ausgewählt. We ate an evening dinner in this restaurant. First thing when we arrived at the entrance, two servers passed beside us with out saying good evening or asking if we needed help. Finally we went to a server saying we had reserved a table. The decoration inside is nice and different, that's the only good thing. We ordered two cocktails to start the supper. The server that came with our drinks didn't know what drink was wich (one had alcohol and the other had none). Anyways, they were warm and disgusting. Then we ordered two meet plates. It was tastless and nothing special for the price. Before leaving, we saw the working place of the servers with food all over the floor. The dinner cost us CHF...
I've heard about this place for many years from different family members but I've never been here myself so my sister decided to take Mom and I for lunch while I was visiting Switzerland. This is a gorgeous little private zoo with a flamingo colony, turtles and ducks and geese, on a beautiful piece of land, delightfully decorated and laid out to look just like a beach town in Florida.
I would not consider this restaurant very vegan friendly. on the plus side all vegan dishes are marked on the menu. but the selection is quite small, there are two main dishes, an salat and a rice dish with tofu and sweet, which I found very dry and bland. they can certainly find something to eat, but do not expect it to flash.

Magnificent, green setting which is worth the detour. The meal is good and the staff extremely nice. My meat wasn't cooked enough so they took it back from me and on the way back they served it to me on a heart-shaped plate with a little sorry on the side of the plate. I really appreciated the gesture.

Although the weather was quite bad, as it was raining a lot, the view of the flamingos and the sea was beautiful.
Everything was great, except for the spiders after dinner around 9 p.m. which came down from above.....
