After looking at some reviews we gave it a try to go to this restaurant. Staying in the region of Florsheim for business purposes we were lucky to find this restaurant. The big advantage of this restaurant is it nice and big terrace along the river Main. We did find a table on the terrace and ordered a typical Franziskaner Weissbier. The menu was tempting and we ordered some delicious meat from the grill. The service in this restaurant is overall good and we were treated with a smile. This is a restaurant that is frequented by many locals. Wir sind regelmäßig im Bootshaus und jedes Mal absolut zufrieden. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen einfach top! Falls doch mal etwas nicht ganz passt, wird es sofort geklärt – man muss nur offen miteinander reden. Besonders begeistert hat uns das Wintergrillen, bei dem wir nun schon zweimal dabei waren. Eine fantastische Idee von Lutz und seinem Team! Die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig, man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Das Bootshausteam überrascht immer wieder mit kreativen Aktionen und macht jeden Besuch besonders. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Very popular restaurant by the River Maine. Good size terrace with plenty of tables & chairs. Service a bit slow on the Saturday afternoon we were there. Had to go inside and order directly at the counter. Latte coffe @2.90, ordinery coffee 2e. Flamkucken overpriced at nearly 9e but the baked Camembert I though was good at 7.50e. Good selection of cakes as always in Germany @ 2.50e a slice and a good size too. The inside is looking a bit shabby and could probably do with some refurbishment.
Der Service ist aufmerksam und der Chef sehr sympathisch. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wir hatten das Schnitzel mit Kochkäse und den Handkäse. Wunderbar. Wer hier auf der Terrasse keinen Stop auf dem Spaziergang oder der Radtour einlegt ist selber Schuld.

Wir sind, nach einem Spaziergang mit dem Hund, jetzt schön öfters dort eingekehrt. Es sind durchweg nette Bedienungen, die auch im Stress noch nett sind. Das Essen ist durchweg, für ein Bootshaus, sehr gut. Auch Preis/Leistung stimmt.
It's a nice place to visit in summer as you can sit right at the main river and watch people and boats pass. However the food is not impressive. Typical German kitchen. Not much creativity.
schöne Location am Wasser mit großen Außenbereich. Gute Auswahl an Essen, lecker und preislich ok. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam und gesamte Atmosphäre sehr positiv.
