My second time giving this spot a try. Pro's: Interesting and diverse menu great for folks with food restrictions or leaning toward veg/vegan/GF. The Ricotta toast that I ordered was so good! My friend had a gluten free brownie and green tea also, very tasty and the tea came in a very funky tea pot! The space is extremely well designed, and light and bright! Con's: The Ricotta toast was tasty when I finally got it. It must have taken a good 20 minutes for them to get it to me, and my friend was politely waiting to dive into her brownie (which I urged her to do. My cappuccino was not hot (because it was probably made when I ordered it, but came out with the Ricotta toast . Quite frankly, the...

This new restaurant is cute, but the prices r astronomical! $7 for one donut! On top of the high prices for everything, they add a 20% equity fee to every purchase. When I asked the cashier about it she said it was to pay employees salaries!! I asked about it and she said she couldn't live off $17. /hr she was being paid! (Is that really a patrons problem??? Btw....I read an article in Newsday that said the owner was paying her employees $21/hr and benefits, so what's the story??? And the lunch: The felafel were under cooked, mushy, and presented on a lunch sized plate: not very appetizing or appealing given the $19 charge!

The food is excellent and definitely Instagram-worthy, but charging $7 for a donut or $14 for four plain bagels (which aren’t toasted, sliced, or garnished) is ridiculous. It feels like the Salt Bae of bakeries. While the food is good, I find myself needing to work extra hours just to afford it. I thought the trend of $7 donuts was unique to this place, but even the trendiest specialty donut shops in Brooklyn don’t charge that much. There are no visible prices anywhere, and when you ask, they don’t include the additional 20% tip in the cost. It seems you have to be in the top 1% of earners to regularly enjoy this bakery.

This place is super cute and has lots of coffees and pastries. Unfortunately forcing a 20% fee on all orders is a turn off. Also there are no prices listed on the wall or next to the pastries. There is a menu with some other prices. It has potential but forcing a fee during this economy is a little beyond? Obviously you could just not go there which is probably what will happen. I didn't mind it for the first times for coffee but I mean when you're paying $7 for a small beverage half ice it's a bit unreasonable, doesn't really make you want to return. Book a table now

The food wasn 't bad, the coffee was OK. The extra fee on the check was entirely inappropriate. The woman behind the counter explained that they do it all the time in the city. Glen Head is not the city! Remove this excessive and uncalled for fee!

This is my favorite bakery. Ever. I’m not exaggerating. The espresso is incredible. The cocktails (and mocktails) are divine. I can’t stop eating the baked goods. Help.I also love the space and the team. Thanks for having me. I’ll be back.

I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was fantastic! They had two milk options for my latte: soy and pistachio. What a lovely café! I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Book a table now
