Went to get supper close to closing time for 8 people. Chips were passable so was piece of fish but the battered sausages ended up as just plain sausages although we paid for battered and the chicken fillets were totally inedible they were dry overcooked and basically not fit for a dog. Would not recommend going there.
Average chip shop, used to be the best around, not sure what happened? Batter is tough, mushy peas are neon! Chips are ok though. There's far better chippy's around now unfortunately
I ordered from flying fish today and to be told that for 2 sausage had to wait 10 to 15 minutes I shouldn’t of had to wait food should of been ready there and then it was only 5pm
sorry been going to this fish shop for many years and I must say tonight 19th Dec 2023 was the worst fish and chips I have had its a shame but will be looking else where Book a table now
Very unhappy with my food! The lady with glasses wrapped all of my food order into one so when I got home everything was all squashed together and not eatable!
Really great chips. All shapes and sizes perfectly cooked. Lovely sausage and batter, cod and curry sauce. Lovely staff, make you feel very welcome.
The food we got was amazing. Fish tasted lovely and fresh and chips were perfect and piping hot! Definitely will be coming back.
