I made a special trip here for my first visit to OK and it was a great choice. The restaurant is right on Lake Murray and there are Great Lake views even from the parking lot. The place was clean, bright, and mostly empty when I arrived at 11 AM. I was a little concerned b/c I'm vegetarian and I'm never sure what I can cobble together when a place doesn't have specific meat-free entrees. However, there were definitely options. My favorite was the pimiento cheese with toasts. Smoky, sharp, crunchy toast, delicious. The fried okra was also very crunchy, but not as much okra taste as I'd have liked. Glad I got a salad to go with the cheese fried goodies! The service was fantastic- food arrived...
We ate here many times over the summer. Place was always packed with limited menu.Decided to come during winter. Holy Smokes. We started with the kettle nachos. Delicious. Our entree was the Hobo dinner. I have never had anything like it. What a stunning meal. To cap it off, we were gifted with a dessert called apple critters. My wife is beside herself in culinary ecstasy
Our food was burnt we would have complained and left but we were guest of another couple and was not comfortable about making a scene.we will not return.whats really bad is that the mgr brought out our food so he knew about the condition of the food. This was a wonderful surprise, the location was beautiful, the decor was great and the staff was amazing. I had the zucchini chips that came with ranch and honey mustard. For the entree I had the chicken fried steak by mashed potatoes and jalapeño corn. It was all so delicious and tasty. I can’t wait to go back to this place again.

Our third visit. Waited over 30 minutes to be seated, staff was not friendly and slow. It took way too long to get our food and some parts of it was cold and some over cooked. We were saddened to see such a wonderful place be like it was. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100
This restaurant is very clean and the service is fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious. They are open all day on New years which is convenient for us as we are staying at the cabins at the State Park. The view is amazing of Lake Murray.
