Service was to put it best just ok. It felt like the server certainly had better things to do than tend to us. Every time he came back to our table it was to say, oh sorry about that I’ll be right back with what you asked for last time. Food was great. Except for the one thing I went there for, “Beef rib” it was never brought around. We eventually got a plate of the leftover bits from the charred underside, from what I can only presume was the day before’s rib. We sat next to the kitchen and requested and waited for the spicy pork sausage as well, but only saw it come out after we paid our bill and 5 min before we left. We were there for 1.5 hours.
This was my worst experience at this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes on our wedding anniversary. Then they finally seated us on the 2nd floor. I knew that would be a problem. The gauchos came by infrequently. And when they did, the meats were burnt and dry and barely had any salt. We've been to this restaurant many times before, and this was by far the worst time. The good was that Irina was very attentive to our needs, and we applaud her.
Ambiance was great. Our guests, it was their first time dining at Fogo de Chao and they waited for their ordered dinner, asking three different wait staff when her dinner would be served. The meat and the polenta was salty. Desert was great and while I had an offer for one free desert, I was charged for it. Nothing was bad. Simply offering what happened.
Tried this Brazilian steakhouse in Detroit. High expectations but disappointed. All the meat given to me was overcooked and bland. Service was not good. I had to get me own first plates. Not recommended.

It was really good, our reservation was for 5:30 but we got seated by 5:15!! The waiter was attentive and made sure we had all cuts we asked for.
It’s too expensive but I still love it . I have gluten allergy so that makes me go often about three times a month
Hit brunch late on Sunday (1pm) arrival…great value to get linch at brunch price.
Had Abraham as a server, he was kind, prompt and accommodating
