Gorgeous restaurant just off the main street full of bars and restaurants, and one street back from the marina street. It's named after the fountain in a small square by the entrance. Don't do what we did and think they'll put tables by the fountain they don't, you actually have to walk down the steps to the fountain and then you'll see the restaurant tucked away in the corner. That makes it sound small, but it is bigger than you think when you go in. There's about 5 or 6 tables outside, a few on an indoor/outdoor section then more indoors. What a fabulous place. The staff are excellent and the food is to die for. You will have to make an effort to find it though as it is quite far back in the old town of Baiona. Please avoid the restaurants on the strip that are poor and overpriced tourist traps especially in the little piazza on the seafront. been there and didn’t like it this is our second visit to the restaurant as I dislike to critique on one visit. We had a wonderful dinner at FdZ. The location is tucked away and charming. The service was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! We had the 2 types of house made croquettes, wonderful garlic shrimp, tuna belly and tomato salad, sea bass and chicken. We missed the Russian salad, which looked fantastic! They did get a bit busy and service slowed down a bit at the end, but it was an overall delightful dinner!

We have spent nearly two weeks sailing along the Galician coast, and this is the best restaurant so far! Very cozy hideaway location. Recommend garlic prawns and the salad with oranges as appertizers! Marinated beef and cod loins main courses (bacalao tomato sauce) were also great! And desserts to die for... Only minus is lack of coffee, which Scandinavians like with their desserts.
Special secluded setting even tho just off the promenade. We got a table outside which was perfect. Just the spot for couples. Delicious courses. Top class sea bass. Lovely wines by the glass. Dropped a notch as our waiter offered a perfunctory service to us while chatty to Spanish diners. However the manageress was a perfect antidote. Overall a real gem.
Recommended by our simple hotel and we were not disappointed. A bit basic but quickly we learnt that the ingredients were fresh as they always are in Galicia. It was tasty and nice, friendly service and nice alioli with curry made inhouse!
Excellent innovative food , attentive staff and nice ambiance . Each course was superb from the house croquetas to the Spanish cerviche with Hake. So good will go again

Small menu but very good quality and service. Both inside and outside are really nice, great hidden terrace. Very popular so make sure to book before you go!
We sat outside on the terrace and had a very nice meal. The senora of the house was very nice and helpful. I'd go back here anytime.
