I have ALWAYS liked this place. Been going for years. Yesterday, I walked in about 5 pm. There were two children with their backs away from the counter, and one young lady cooking. Two tables were eating. I went up to the counter, read the menu and chose my order by circling the items on the menu that I wanted.Time passed. I had still not been acknowledged AT ALL by the only other adult in the room the young lady cooking less than 15 feet from me. Not even greeted or smiled at. Nothing. Time continued to pass. After five minutes, I walked out. Do better.
This restaurant was once fantastic, but on my last two lunch visits, a staff member informed me that the manager wasn’t available and suggested I return later. He also mentioned that he doesn't speak English. I don't understand why they keep the doors open if they're not actually serving food, as it creates the impression that they're open for business. My son and I ended up making the trip for nothing.
FOOD POISONING! I ordered the shrimp lo mein combo from this restaurant last night. Halfway through my meal, I noticed that the shrimp had a bleach-like smell. I've never felt this ill before; within 30 minutes, I was vomiting and continued to be sick throughout the night and into today.
This restaurant is very well organized and conveniently located. They serve generous portions at affordable prices. I really enjoyed the food, and the staff was friendly and engaging. Highly recommended!
