We 've been twice and enjoyed ordering from an extensive vegan menu. They are 7th Day Adventists so they close early on Friday and are closed Saturday 's. Hubby loves their pasta shells, we both like the cheesy nachos. Portions are average. Prices are a little high. Both visits we got a cup of soup included but this not mentioned on menu. They make their own juices and judging from the samples we were given, they are very good. Next door is an Asian market and they carry a number of vegan meat items. light bright environment with many lively plant areas that offer very comfortable seating and the top service. they had most choices for vegan eating all food we visited in mcallen. all meal times start with a small part of the suppening the two we tried were amazing! a very wide selection of entrées start and desserts. they are fresh water like cucumber ingwer apfel, and watermelone mint we are perfectly balanced. if they are vegan in mcallen texas, I cannot recommend this restaurant very much.
I picked up food for lunch and dinner, so I ordered a black bean burger with fries and the Pancit. The fries were cooked through, but soft (not crispy) so I might not go for those again but the burger was perfection and the pancit, which sat out for hours before I ate it, was fabulous. The food didn’t take very long and the staff were nice; so if I ever get the chance I’d love to dine in. There was plenty of space and it was bright and clean. Total gem of a place.

The food was delicious, and the people there were so nice. The atmosphere was very relaxing and was suitable for a person to have a meal by themselves. The person, I assume is the manager, was really nice. I really love their mission to help others achieve a healthy life style. I would definitely recommend eating here and speaking with the manager if you get the chance. I'll certainly be back the next time I'm in town.
Foodamed has so many options to choose from! And all equally DELICIOUS! If you are new to the plant-based lifestyle, this is a GREAT place to go! They have wings, nachos, tamales, burgers, ice-cream and more! And of course, all VEGAN-FRIENDLY! The manager, Rolando, was very helpful in answering any questions I had about the food and even gave us samples of their Organic Juices! Highly recommend!
So happy that a vegan restaurant has opened in the Rio Grande Valley! The menu was extensive and I loved the nachos. The infused water was delicious and the meatballs in the spaghetti were so flavorful! Will be recommending this spot to all my family and friends in the RGV.
I ordered the Tex mex burrito and it was overly salty, I didn’t quite enjoy it for that reason. The side guac and pico de Gallo was good.
