While our waitress was attentive and informative, the food was entirely lackluster. On par with overcooked microwave food. The chicken in the pad thai was hard and dry, underseasoned. The noodles were gooey they were so overcooked. Appetizer of pork gyoza was burned to a blackened crisp and one of the gyoza had burst open and was served as a shell with a hard pork center resting on top of the dumpling. The soy sauce seemed to have been additionally salted unnecessarily and the HOT HOT HOT oil didn't have even the hint of any detectable heat or spice. $130 later, a meal for two had us wishing we had stopped at McDonalds. My wife and I found this incredible gem on a weekend trip to Abingdon in early October. We drove down from Arlington for some hiking and biking and, as vegans, really struggled to find tasty and welcoming restaurants in the area. I am also transgender, so I tend to feel a bit unsafe in rural areas and the Abingdon/Damascus area was no exception...but we had an AMAZING time at Foresta. The service was incredible and personalized, including correct us of pronouns. The cocktails we delicious and every bit of our meal was delicious, reminding us of food we had eaten traveling in Asia. I can't say enough god things about the service, the food or the ambiance. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!
This was our second visit to Foresta and we had an incredible experience. Daisy was fantastic, very helpful and attentive. All the food was fresh and tasty with good portions. I highly recommend the tteok-bokki. The special scotch drink (Last Train? was a revelation. The ambiance is super nice, and about as unique as you can get around here. Definitely has become a local favorite of ours. We look forward to going back!
Enjoyed an excellent meal and great cocktails all served by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable young lady who stated she worked at the farm during the days. Everything our party tried was top notch and beyond fresh. Maybe the first farm to table Asian place I have come across, but I will stop again if travelling through the area. As odd as they sound, don 't miss the spam and egg bao buns!

The excellent service and quirky yet elegant atmosphere were a welcome end to our day on the Virginia Creeper Trail. We enjoyed the interesting cocktails and the menu included so many delicious sounding offerings! The noodle-based entrees were enormous, really too large for even two people. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Lovely atmosphere...quite cozy on a December evening with wonderful drinks, great service and delicious food that made me want to try everything on the menu. Excellent dumplings, spring rolls and wontons. Noodle dishes outstanding and wish I had room for dessert. Definitely will go back and soon!!!!
There were dried up crumbs on my fork and a food mark on my plate. I heard the dishwasher in the back doesn’t actually clean the dishes so that may be why.
Great place to have a romantic dinner. Cozy and warm environment. Very helpful staff and servers, and you will likely also be engaged by the owner.

Fantastic dinner last night. Try the sushi, gyoza, duck fried rice, ribeye and the katzu. The place always knocks it out of the park! Enjoy ?
